Celebrating Excellence at Our 2025 Company Awards Dinner

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Smith Mountain Lake Real Estate agents and their guests gathered on Thursday at the elegant Waterfront Country Club to celebrate our 2025 Network Awards Dinner. The evening brought together our team for a well-earned celebration of the past year’s accomplishments and the relationships that make our work meaningful. Guests enjoyed a lively cocktail hour, catching up with colleagues and setting an upbeat tone for the night ahead.

Ronald L. Willard II, the broker/owner of our company, spoke before dinner, sharing a story of a recent personal experience with stellar customer service in the retail field that correlates to what our agents do every day. He also spoke about his appreciation for our company staff who keep the business rolling along, out of sight; upcoming updates to the main Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Smith Mountain Lake Real Estate office; and the current Smith Mountain Lake real estate market.

Throughout the evening, we recognized the achievements that continue to set our agents apart in the Smith Mountain Lake market. While we celebrated together, we also acknowledged award winners Jane Sullivan Horne, Van Casteel Daniel, and Jeannie Villwock, who could not join us. Their professionalism and commitment to their clients were celebrated.

Nights like this reinforce what matters most: a team that shows up for one another and for the clients we serve. The energy in the room carried forward a shared sense of purpose as we move further into 2026.
