Biography
Luke Schmidt has been a trusted sales professional for more than 29 years, and for the past four years, he’s brought that same passion and dedication to the world of real estate. As a full-time REALTOR®, Luke has successfully helped both buyers and sellers navigate the housing market across Franklin County, Smith Mountain Lake, and the greater Roanoke region. His client-focused approach, strong negotiation skills, and deep local knowledge have made him a go-to agent for those seeking both guidance and results.
Luke moved to Franklin County in 1990 to attend Ferrum College. While earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing, he played on Ferrum's championship baseball team and immersed himself in the community he now proudly calls home. He and his wife, Missy, live in Rocky Mount and are the proud parents of two daughters who attend James Madison University.
When he’s not showing homes or closing deals, Luke enjoys golfing around Smith Mountain Lake and exploring new courses while traveling.
Before entering real estate, Luke spent 25 years in the automotive sales industry, rising through the ranks from salesperson to dealership owner. That background equipped him with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a client-first mindset.
