''Scarlett's Burden,'' the Federal Style/ Art Nouveau treasure at the best location, with the best yard and seconds from the front door of ''The Omni Homestead 1766'' resort. Exquisite and impossible to replicate, this is the most photographed and iconic home in all of Bath County. ~Pastel variegated bricks are unique because they were created in a coal-fired kiln on-premises. ~House constructed all-bricks deep, a ''real'' brick house which has no wood frame. ~Pink quartzite cobblestone driveway and patios which had been smoothed by wagon wheel traffic, then reclaimed (from underneath layers of asphalt) because it was the first street of Minneapolis (c.1867). ~Marble corbels and Juliette Balcony were reclaimed off of the US Capitol.
